Maryland Wedding Photographer

My name is Arsh & I'm a Maryland Wedding Photographer

It’s emotional for me to photograph a person. I’m able to see them as no one else can, frozen in time. That moment is so rich in detail that I want to dissect and treasure it. A glance…a smile…an awkward movement…a blurry limb…the lighting just so…It’s my way of holding the world still and processing it in slow motion.

I’ve been doing wedding photography for over a decade, and my eye is honed to capture the fleeting moments of authenticity and intimacy that make your wedding day electric. Passion for my craft and an eye for detail drive me to be courageous and constantly willing to grow as an artist. Photography breathes life into me as I breathe life into it. My images energize me when I feel them resonate the essence of the scene. They become 4-dimensional, brimming with color, light, energy, and a story that speaks for itself.

I just can't wait to meet you

A little more about my story

Have you ever gone through life feeling like you were doing ok but were meant for something more? Have you ever felt an itch you can’t scratch? That was me just a few years ago. I was working in IT, chained to a desk and realizing that my Computer Science degree would never give me the life I wanted. I wanted to charge what I was worth, feel my passion, achieve freedom, surround myself with ambitious and passionate people, and make a tangible impact on the world. I wanted to take ownership of my life and my destiny and stop the cycle of “We’ve always done it this way”.

I wasn't always an awesome photographer

I began with photography in high school. That’s when I started using my family’s point and shoot Pentax, our first digital camera. It wasn’t until college when I got my first professional camera. I was horrible…but I stuck at it! There were semesters when I would bring my camera with me around campus daily. Whenever I went to a family gathering, I had my camera. Eventually, most of my friends and family knew me as the guy with the camera who could take great pictures. I would keep taking pictures and keep analyzing them. What could I do better? What made this picture look worse? Bit by bit, I taught myself to take amazing pictures and master the moment. It’s a practice I keep up to this day.
